Here at Diva Rocker Glam, we usually keep these things “under wraps” but . . . we just have to sing our praises when another site has already “spilled the beans”. Yesterday, we were thrilled to be the filming location that featured none other than the incredible Melanie Griffith!
On Monday July 9th, Antonio Banderas’ wife arrived at Diva Rocker Glam’s Sunset Showroom and returned to television in a new series called DTLA, a gay scripted drama from the producers of the L Word. DTLApremieres on Canada’s OUTtv network in October, while several US networks are vying for the show.
It was an absolute thrill to be in the midst of such a wonderful, talented and genuinely lovely person. We certainly enjoyed our day together and Melanie, well, she’s looks better than ever and boy she is on her game!
Best of all, Melanie was even willing to do a cameo appearance on Cindy’s pilot for her “in the works” TV show. That’s Cindy, with her back to the camera in a picture from the set, where Melanie plays Sandra Bernhard’s ex lesbian lover, and we heard Sandra asked her long-time friend to play the role on DTLA. We can’t wait to see the show!
